Credits, History and languages

What a run costs, where your results are kept, and which languages CopyZap writes in.

Credits

The credits you have left are shown at the top of the app, next to the name of the account you are signed in with. Hover the name to see the account's email.

Credits are used when CopyZap fetches a page, writes and scores versions, makes a change you asked for, or scores your own edit. The Make it stronger questions and chat use very few. Opening a result from History costs nothing.

You always see what a run will cost and what it cost:

  • Before a run, the check screen says about how many credits it will use.
  • On the result, the line under the title shows the credits it has used so far: the run plus every change and every score after it.
  • In History, each result shows its credits.

What a run typically uses:

  • A short text, email or post (up to about 250 words): about 30 credits.
  • A page of a few hundred words: about 35 credits.
  • A long page (500 to 1,500 words): about 60 credits.
  • Longer pages: more than 80 credits.
  • Each change you ask for: about 15 credits.
  • Answer and run again: a full new run, so about as much as the first one.
  • Fetching a page: a few credits.

Most of a run's cost is the same whatever the length, because every run writes three versions and scores them all, with close scores read three times. That is why a slogan costs about as much as a short email.

The free trial includes 1,000 credits for 30 days: about 30 runs on short texts, or about 13 to 15 pages with a few changes each. No card needed.

History

Every run is saved automatically. Click History at the top of the app to see past runs with their goal, original score, the credits each one used, and the date. Open an earlier run — with its versions, scores and any changes you made — and carry on where you left off. Start over on a result begins a new run without losing the old one, and so does Answer and run again. You can also rename or delete a run from the list. Opening a saved run costs no credits.

Languages

The app, the scores, the reasons and the report are in English, so everyone on your team reads them the same way. You can improve marketing copy in six languages: your copy is written in the language you choose in the Language field: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian or Portuguese. Every language is scored on the same scale.
