Check the score with another AI

Don't take our word for it. Any result can be checked by ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or another AI you use. CopyZap gives it a ready-made check: your original, the best version, the same scoring rules CopyZap uses, and CopyZap's scores. The other AI scores both texts itself and tells you where it agrees and where it doesn't.

A real run on our demo page Tidewell Bookkeeping and ChatGPT's real answer, not edited. The chat window is drawn neutrally; it works the same in ChatGPT, Claude and Grok. With voice-over.

When, why, how

On any scored result
When
Any time after a run, on a new result or one opened from History. Best before you send a version to a client.
Why
You, or your client, want proof that the score isn't CopyZap praising its own work. A second AI that reaches about the same numbers is that proof. Where it disagrees, you learn what to look at.
How
Click Check with another AI in the row of buttons above the result, choose an AI, paste into its chat and send. Takes about a minute.

Step by step

  1. On the result, click Check with another AI. A panel opens under the buttons.
  2. Click Copy & open ChatGPT, Copy & open Claude or Copy & open Grok. CopyZap copies the check and opens that AI in a new tab. A line confirms it: “Copied. In the ChatGPT tab, paste it into the message box (Ctrl+V or ⌘V) and send.”
  3. In the AI's tab, click in the message box, paste (Ctrl+V on Windows, ⌘V on a Mac) and send. A long check may appear as an attached text; that's fine.
  4. Read the answer. It takes the other AI 10 to 30 seconds.

Using another AI, such as Gemini or Copilot? Click Copy only and paste it there. You need to be signed in to the AI you choose; CopyZap never signs in for you.

Reading the answer

The answer is built for a business owner to read, in this order:

  • A header naming the page, the date and what it was judged for, with a link back to the result in CopyZap (it opens only for you, signed in).
  • A verdict, for example “Agree”.
  • A short summary table with both totals for each text and the improvement, plus a simple bar chart.
  • One table for “Your original” and one for “CopyZap's best version”: CopyZap's score and the other AI's score side by side for Clarity, Persuasion, Audience fit, Structure and the total, the gap, and the reason for any real difference.
  • Is the best version a real improvement? A plain yes or no, with why.
  • When something important doesn't show in the scores, a short “Worth knowing” line, for example details to confirm before publishing.

From the run in the clip, the totals:

CopyZapChatGPTGap
Your original5456+2
CopyZap's best version7776−1

ChatGPT's verdict: “Agree. CopyZap's scoring is fair overall.” It confirmed the best version is a real improvement (+20 by its count, +23 by ours), and under Worth knowing it listed what to fix before publishing: details the rewrite added that the page doesn't state, a generic “Contact us” call to action, and a repeated testimonial heading. That is the point of the check: the gain is confirmed, and you know what to fix next.

What a gap means

  • Up to 5 points on the total is not a disagreement. Any AI, CopyZap's included, scores the same text a few points apart on different readings.
  • A bigger gap on one part comes with a reason. Read it: it often points at something real, such as a phrase that may not suit your audience.
  • The other AI can be wrong too. When the two disagree, the reasons, not the numbers, tell you who has the point.

The strict check

In the one-paste check, the other AI receives CopyZap's scores together with the texts. It is told to score first, but it can see them. For a fully independent check, click Strict check: the other AI scores before it sees our scores in the panel:

  1. Click Copy step 1: the copy, paste it into an AI chat and send. The AI scores the texts without knowing CopyZap's scores.
  2. Wait for its answer. Then click Copy step 2: our scores, paste it into the same chat and send. Now it compares.

Your client's copy

The check holds your original and the best version. When you paste it, the text goes to that AI under your own account and its rules, not CopyZap's. With a client's copy, make sure your client is fine with that.

The check doesn't use CopyZap credits. It holds only the original and the best version, to keep it short enough to paste.
