Terms of Service and Refund Policy

1. Who we are

CopyZap (copyzap.app) is operated by Advisionario, S.A. de C.V., RFC ADV070416KY6, Mexico (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hi@copyzap.app.

By creating an account or buying credits, you agree to these terms. If you use CopyZap for a company or agency, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.

2. The service and your account

CopyZap improves and scores marketing copy with AI. You paste copy or give a web address, and CopyZap writes improved versions, scores them and explains the scores.

• You need an account to use CopyZap. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account is for one person. An agency may buy credits for its own work and its clients' work, but may not share one login among several people.
• We may change, add or remove features. If a change takes away something you paid for, section 6 applies.

3. Credits

CopyZap works with prepaid credits. Every action that uses AI (a run, an edit, a “Make it stronger” answer, a re-score) uses credits. The number used depends on the work: longer texts and repeated runs use more, short texts use fewer. A typical web page of about 1,000 words uses roughly 60 credits; this is a guide, not a promise.

• Free trial: new accounts get 250 free credits, valid for 30 days. Trial credits are used before bought credits. They are never extended and cannot be refunded or exchanged for money.
• Order of use: free and bonus credits first, then bought credits, those expiring soonest first.
• Running out: when your balance reaches 0, new runs stop until you buy more credits. A run already in progress may finish even if it takes you slightly below 0; we do not charge for that difference.
• Credits have no cash value. They belong to the account that bought them and cannot be transferred or resold.

4. Credit packs, prices and invoices

Credits are sold in one-time packs. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.

• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Customers in Mexico pay in Mexican pesos, IVA included. Customers elsewhere pay in US dollars; your bank may add its own fees or exchange costs.
• Credits are added within minutes of a successful payment.
• Invoices (CFDI): customers in Mexico who need a CFDI can request one at hi@copyzap.app within the same calendar month as the purchase, with their RFC, legal name, tax regime, postal code and CFDI use.
• We may change prices for future purchases. Credits you already bought keep their value and expiry.

5. When credits expire

Bought credits expire 3, 6 or 12 months after purchase, depending on the pack (see section 4). Your balance and the next expiry date are shown next to your credit count in the app.

• A new purchase never shortens your credits. When you buy a pack, all your unexpired bought credits move to the later of their current date and the new pack's date.
• 15-day grace period. If bought credits expired less than 15 days ago and you buy a new pack, those credits come back and take the new pack's date. After 15 days, expired credits are gone for good.
• Trial and bonus credits keep their own date. A purchase does not extend or revive them.
• Expired credits are not refunded.

Example: your Starter credits expire on November 15. You buy another Starter pack on November 20, five days late. Your old credits come back, and everything is valid until February 20.

6. Refunds

You can get your money back for a pack you have not used, and for problems on our side. Write to hi@copyzap.app with the email of your account and the date of the purchase.

• Unused pack, within 14 days: a full refund if none of the credits from that pack have been used. Trial credits are always used first, so trying CopyZap on your free credits does not affect this.
• Partly used packs are not refunded, except in the cases below.
• Our fault: if a run failed or gave no result because of an error on our side, we return the credits it used. If CopyZap is unavailable for a long period or we remove a feature you paid for, we refund the unused part of your bought credits.
• Double payments or payments charged by mistake are refunded in full.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. The refunded credits are removed from your account.
• Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; most problems are solved within a day.

7. Promotion codes

We sometimes offer promotion codes, entered on the payment page. Each code shows its discount, end date and any limits (for example, one use per customer). A code lowers the price of a pack; you still receive the pack's full credits. Codes cannot be exchanged for cash, combined with other codes, or applied to past purchases. If you get a refund on a discounted pack, you receive the amount you actually paid.

8. Your content and the AI's output

Your content stays yours. You keep all rights to the copy and pages you give CopyZap, and to the improved versions it writes for you. We use your content only to provide the service to you; we do not sell it or use it to train AI models. Our AI providers process it on our behalf under their own data terms.

Only use content you may use. Do not submit text you have no right to work with, personal data you may not share, or anything illegal, hateful, or meant to mislead people.

Check before you publish. CopyZap's versions and scores are made by AI. They can contain mistakes, and a score is an assessment, not a guarantee of sales or results. CopyZap is told to improve how your copy is said, not to add facts, and it warns you when a version claims more than the original. You are responsible for checking every claim, price and promise before you publish.

9. Limits, changes and law

• Liability: CopyZap is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
• Ending use: you can stop using CopyZap and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms; unused bought credits are then refunded unless the account was used for fraud or abuse.
• Changes: we may update these terms. We will tell you by email or in the app at least 15 days before a change that affects credits you already bought. Changes never shorten the expiry of credits you already bought.
• Law: these terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Disputes go to the competent courts of Mexico, without affecting your right to file a complaint with PROFECO.
