Templates & Saved Setups
TL;DR
Save time on recurring content types by creating reusable templates. Use Quick Start examples for inspiration, save your own configurations, and maintain consistency across projects.
Why Use Templates?
Templates eliminate repetitive setup work and ensure consistency across similar content types.
Without Templates:
- • Fill 15-30 fields every time
- • Remember brand voice settings
- • Inconsistent results
- • 10-15 minutes per project
- • Risk of forgetting key settings
With Templates:
- • One-click load all settings
- • Consistent brand voice
- • Predictable quality
- • 2-3 minutes per project
- • Never miss important fields

✅ NEW: Smart Bracket Placeholder Detection
The system now intelligently detects bracketed placeholders in Quick Start templates:
Visual Highlighting (v7.4.4):
- • Form fields containing bracketed placeholders are automatically highlighted with an orange background
- • Only fields with actual bracket placeholders receive the orange highlight - empty fields remain white/black
- • Updates in real-time as you edit and remove placeholders
- • See at a glance which fields still need your input
Smart Toast Notification:
- • When you load a Quick Start with bracketed placeholders like
[enter your issue], you'll see a helpful warning - • Only appears when bracketed placeholders are actually detected - no unnecessary alerts
Pre-Generation Validation:
- • Before generating, the system checks if bracketed placeholders still exist in your form
- • Shows a modal with examples of placeholders found and where they're located
- • Choose to "Go Back and Edit" or "Generate Anyway"
Why this helps:
- • Prevents wasting API credits on unedited template examples
- • Teaches proper template customization
- • Non-intrusive - focuses on bracketed text like
[your product]
Save Your Own Templates
Create custom templates from your current configuration with an improved save/overwrite interface.
How the Save Template Dialog Works
When you click "Save as Template," you'll see a clean form with TWO action buttons:
The Form:
- • Template Name: Enter the name for your template (required)
- • Description: Optional notes about this template
- • Category: Optional category (defaults to "Uncategorized" if blank)
Action 1: "Update Original Template" (Primary - Blue)
- • Only appears when you've loaded an existing template
- • Updates the template you originally loaded with your current settings
- • Shows a confirmation dialog before updating
- • Confirmation warns about overwriting existing settings
- • Perfect for refining templates you already use
Action 2: "Save as New Template" (Secondary - Gray)
- • Always available
- • Opens a confirmation dialog asking for the new template name
- • Default name suggestion: "Original Template Name - Copy"
- • You can modify the suggested name before saving
- • Creates a brand new template - never overwrites existing ones
- • Perfect for creating variations from existing templates
What Gets Saved:
- • All input field values
- • AI model selection
- • Tone and style settings
- • Output structure preferences
- • Optional feature toggles
- • Special instructions
- • Template category
